In the land of Death and Joy

by K. Kylyra Ameringer

Can you hear them call you

In the land of death and joy?

I will go there with you

To the land of death and joy

Days will wear your soul thin

Flow on through on southern wind

Lost in shame and grace and pain

In the steel your mind will tame

Lay down your earthly hopes and dreams

Nothing here is as it seems

Ishtar sings out from the shore

As Marduke takes his men to war

Find the joy in death and pain

And you may live well yet again

Dive into your pool of fear

And lose all that you now hold dear
