untitled 4

An eagle live within me

proud and strong and true

Never try to clip it's wings

They belong not to you

The eagle is my mind and heart

It's strength it is my own

I am not a leader

but I do not stand alone

A falcon lives with in me

longing to fly free

Forced to life imprisonment

knowing this should never be

The city is my cage and bars

A cage is just a home

I will brake these caged bars

then I'm free to roam

A dove lives within me

working for world peace

But these damn nuclear weapons

'a fox amongst the geese'

The dove holds my sanity

on her delicate wings

and when her dreams are realised

only then she sings
