Mother

Mother Earth is screaming

Her blood drips from our hands

She nurtured us from nothing

Gave us forth our lands

at first we were respectful

Only taking what was ours

But that was not to last

now she bears the scars

We built up ugly cities

Caged each other in

the power struggle started

We felt we had to win

I't time we made it stop

and took a look around

See our Mother for what she is

her beauty's so profound
