The Waitreturn to the index

The wolves slow their pace as they hear the screams. Tyr jumps out ahead of the pack and stops in front of Kimbahla.

"Should we not go back and help him? It pains me to hear my brother's cries. They cut through to my very being."

"It is not worth our troubles. He will only reject us again, maybe even attack. He is always so violent and confused in the beginnings. He did not even recognize you, Tyr. He will soon get over the shock of rebirth again. I sometimes hope his creator will do something to lessen his pains, like he has always done with you and your sister, Terra. But then he is the one who must always be caught in the middle. It is destiny. We will come out after him in the morning. He will be pleased to see all of us then. Do not fret, Tyr, he never remembers the pain once it has gone. He is not going anywhere tonight, I can tell."

The pack begins it's move to the city again, the hunger glowing in their eyes.

Prayer of Fools

And the Lord he will uphold

if you hold strong your faith

the small, the weak, the feeble of mind,

and those fallen of grace

and in the end he will lift us up

to the stronghold of the mighty gates

to find it is just another dream

doth feeble minds hath made.
