a brief history of classic The Dark World series
- Called the 'classic' because it
was these video images which made one Chad Stephonich say to J.A.Bohr the
famous phrase which named the series and later the whole world, 'Dark World'.
J.A.B. felt the world was dark, and enjoyed that his video feedbacks created
that feeling. The Dark World,
The Dark World II,
Dark World III,
and Dark World IV
simply chronicled the madness which was Providence House and the home of
Black Orchid's basement studio.
- Containing abstract videos and
small sketches, these reflected the university anarchy that took over a
three-story building and turned into a multi-floored studio for four bands
and over a dozen and half musicians. Rented by local video shops they created
a cult following. 'The Six Million Dollar Urination' is one of the sketches
from the series. It reflects a media pushed news item of the day. If your
