Soul Searching
My mind is soul searching
Searching far and wide
Searching for an inner peace
That is locked up inside
Searching in religion
Not knowing what is true
Finding little answers
Not knowing what to do
My mind is still soul searching
Delving through my fear
Searching for an inner route
That is distinct and clear
Searching externally
For the meaning of my life
And why my life continues on
Whilst others fail and now are gone
My mind is oh soul searching
Searching for a mate
That love can consume my soul
And obliterate my hate
Yet here I'm still soul searching
No road I take is clear
Hoping that if I search for long
Answers will appear
