Aims and Objectives:
Express Events aims to advance education in the arts by organising and hosting local cultural events in the community with an emphasis on poetry and music from all sectors of the community. Between July 2010 and June 2011 Express Events will organise and host two major events (Poets Express and Kids Express) as well as a minimum of four Mini Express events featuring poetry, author's readings, experimental video and music, in communities and local schools in the West Cork region (targeted communities include Durrus, Ballydehob, and Drimoleague; targeted schools include Bantry, Durrus, Kilcrohane).
