Shaky Dawg - Biography
Hey Guys,
Shott Crawler here, welcoming you all to Shaky Dawg's Hillbillie House, serving you up an Acid house, Punked up Country sound with a side order of Sin City lyrics.
Shaky Dawg is comprised of Alex and Bobby providing the Techno; KarrArikh Tor on lead guitar and backing vocals; Spike the bassist; Kylyra on female vocals and harmonies; myself, Shott, lead vocals and Matt the Music helping out on the live board sound. Our age profile spans from Spike at 21 to me at 40 and various in between. We are based on the Sheep's Head peninsula in Wild West Cork (they'll never kill the South), Ireland.
Three quarters of our live set is original music co-written by Tor and myself, but even our covers are very "reworked and definitely 'Dawged'".
DAWG was born in February '09 and has had a busy first year playing a series of gigs between July and November. Since then we have been writing and bringing our set up to a full 2 hour show, which we have now done, ready for Spring/Summer bookings, so bring them on!
