Improvised performance or Improvisation is defined
as whenever artists gather to compose and perform without previous preparations
(compose and perform on the "spur of the moment"). Dark World
Artists enjoy improvising quite a bit with a few bands dedicated to it.
Improvisational musical performances which are not related to a Dark World
band's repertoire are referred to as IMPs. The producers at Dark World
are always recording more IMPs than can ever be released on compilations.
Therefore Dark World has decided to release some of these on the internet
(free distribution, NOT for sale, all right reserved). Located here are
full-lengeth songs from the Vast & Mighty Unreleased that have been
recorded, also now including internet releases of tracks from Out-of-Print
special releases; like Artist's Rows and Jam for the Dead. Phase 5/6 features
over 6-1/2 hours of improvsational recordings.
